The Hudson Legion branch #115 does not exist only for the benefit of its members. In fact, far from it. Every year, through the actions of its members, the Hudson branch of the Royal Canadian Legion helps many other local organizations. At the St. Patrick’s Dinner & Dance two donations were from the Legion Poppy Fund. Receiving checks for $2,000.00 were Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation represented by Carole Ravenda & The Hawkesbury General Foundation represented by Pierre-Luc Byham and Donald Hay.

Donations to the Lakeshore Legion Housing Association, the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation and the Hawkesbury General Hospital Foundation
During the annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner and Dance that took place on Friday, March 10, the Hudson Legion branch #115 made donations to three local organizations.

- On June 4th. at the Black Watch Armoury in Montreal our Legion President Peter Mansell presented a check from the Poppy fund to outgoing Cadet C.O. Captain Andrew Baddeley for $1,500.00. Also on this same occasion Mansell presented the Royal Canadian Legion Cadet Medal of Excellence.

- A van-load of gifts and goodies was delivered to Ste-Anne's Hospital on Dec. 18th. A huge THANK YOU goes out to everyone who participated by dropping off items in the donation box. Thanks also go out to the volunteers who helped with this annual event. The resident veterans at Ste-Anne's are so very appreciative of the kindness and generosity displayed by all.

- During the St. Patrick’s Day Dinner and Dance that took place on March 13, Peter Mansell and Eric Connor presented three donation checks totaling $6,000 to three deserving organizations: Le Centre de l’Action Benevole l’Actuel, the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation as well as the Hawkesbury General Hospital Foundation.
- on March 7, 2015 the 1st vice-president of our branch Eric Connor made a $4000 donation from the Poppy Fund to the Manoir Cavagnal. In this photo, he is presenting the check to the president of the Lakeshore Housing Hans Gruenwald.
- On January 24th, during the Robbie Burns Dinner and Dance, 1st V.P. and Poppy Fund Chairman Eric Connor presented a donation check of $2,000 to Ste-Anne’s Hospital Foundation.

- A huge THANK YOU to everyone for their generous donations to the Ste-Anne’s Hospital Veterans Gift Drive. These photos were taken at Ste-Anne's Hospital just prior to the distribution of the gifts to the residents on December 29th. In addition to Linda Eames and John Dalgarno, who represented the Hudson Legion branch #115,present from Ste-Anne's are Claudette Davidson (picture lower left), Johanne Grenier and Luce Piché all of the Volunteer Services plus Katherine Lamb of the Arts and Crafts Department (picture lower right).
- On October 19, Eric Connor presented the following donations:
- Veronique Girard of La Passerelle Women’s Shelter received a check for $1,500.00 - Head NOVA Nurse Judy Tellier and NOVA President Peter Lang received a check for $1,000.00 - Le Pont Bridging Food Bank Founder and President Carol Laws received a check for $1,000.00
- On July 25th, 1st V.P. and Poppy Fund Chairman Eric Connor and Poppy Fund Treasurer Donna Attwood presented a donation check of $1,500.00 to Susan Bednarski representing the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence in Hudson.
- During the St. Patrick Day Supper which took place on Friday, March 7, 2014, donations were made to the Hawkesbury General Hospital as well as NOVA Hudson.

- this is how much money was raised by the Hudson Legion during the 2013 Poppy Fund drive:
- on August 28, 2013 Eric Connor made a $2000 donation from the Hudson Legion Poppy Fund to the Hawkesbury General Hospital.
- on June 1, 2013 representatives from the Hudson Legion made a $500 donation to the Black Watch Cadet Corps 2497 during their annual inspection ceremony
in May, the branch donated $2000 to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation
during the annual Robbie Burns Supper, the Hudson Legion made a donation to the Manoir Cavagnal as well as Le Centre d’Action Benevole L’Actuel.

2012

On June 21, 2012 Peter Mansell and Eric Connor represented the Hudson Legion branch at the Westwood High School graduation ceremony and they handed out bursaries to five deserving students.
During the Diamond Jubilee Celebration event which took place at the Hudson Community Center on Saturday, June 2, the following community organizations received financial support from the Hudson Legion branch:
